Remember that chunky black box? Remember blowing on a cartridge because your game wouldn't work? Did that even help? Wasn't it actually fun when you couldn't save the game?

Growing up with SEGA consoles is one of the most vivid childhood memories you can have. Even though you couldn't save a game and had to restart the entire thing if you ran out of lives, it kind of added to the character of the experience, you saw it as more of a challenge.

AVAILABLE ON AMAZON

The Megadrive/Genesis & Master System were essentially incredible bits of technology for their time. They were more addictive than any system out today, mainly because each game had such character. It's an era that modern smartphone titles just cannot compete with.

Now, SEGA have released a portable gaming device that comes with 80 games pre-loaded and allows you to play ANY Megadrive or Master System game via an SD card, supporting .BIN and .SMD files. You could download the entire back catalogue and take them anywhere with you.

You can order direct from SEGA via AMAZON
