Tom Morello - “We should be totally pissed off at what happened in Charlottesville, and what our president is saying”

The supergroup formed in 2016 as a result of their shared opinions and opposition to the current state of affairs in America today, mainly those in power. It’s obvious this is a politically charged album just from looking at the tracklisting. ‘Unfuck The World’, ‘Strength In Numbers’, ‘The Counteroffensive’ & ‘Hail To The Chief’ are just a few of the angry titles from the debut album.

Morello - “We felt like it was a chaotic political time”

The band say although they have a message to spread globally, asking people to stand up and fight againsts the injustice in the world, they also wanted to create an album that people can enjoy, musically.
