If you’ve ever wanted to explore the vast depths of space, visit distant worlds, walk on pluto or venture to the edge of a black hole, you might just get the chance to do that from the comfort of your very own home anywhere in the world.

A group of Astronomy grad students are currently funding a project to create a truly immersive astronomical experience for the public based on their research and findings throughout deep space.

The idea is to build a fully interactive VR experience of the Universe that people can fly through, visiting all different types of astronomical phenomena as well as learning about how deep space works.
