Utah based rockers, The Used have just released their 8th studio album, ‘Canyon’ which is heavily based around singer Bert McCracken’s early childhood memories and numerous traumatic events in his life.

Their latest single ‘Rise Up Lights’ is a dynamically riff fueled driven track holistically comprising their signature traits, which over the years has always served the band well in giving them an edge within this particular emo, rock style genre.

The video to acompany this new audio delight, is one of intrigue. Littered with religious iconography, dramatic choreography and what can only be described as the depiction of deep, dark mental struggles.

We see a man seemingly tackling numerous demons, unable to escape the physical and emotional torment of the world around him.

“My salvation was a negative creep, He was an alien...”
